I'm not really a classic car specialist - you're likely to know more about it than I do. There's some qustion as to whether it's a real SS. We bought it in a lot (with several other cars), and I'm assuming that it's a very good clone. That being said, it's an excellent car. The body is very straight and rust-free. The paint is great. The carpets, seats, dash, and headliner all appear original. We're guessing the odometer reading isn't, but it's certainly not inconceivable. It cranks readly, sounds great, doesn't smoke. It drives considerably better than I remember them driving back in the day. It has really nice Foose 17' front  & 20" rear wheels with fresh tires. This car has a Georgia title.

Experts from all over the country have examined these photos and weighed in with everything from assurances of it's genuine SS-ness to suspicions that it started life as a Vega - and everything in between. Our research indicates that all the serial number tells is that it's a V8 Chevelle / Malibu, and you have to have the build sheet to verify it's SS pedigree. We don't have the build sheet - and priced this car accordingly. Whatever it is (or was), it's a darn nice car that you'll be impressed with and will be proud to own, drive, and show off.
